11 Steps to having a Hot Girl Summer

Change your mindset
Without school to be filling up the space in our mind our brain has more time to be filled without our own thoughts. Might as well make them positive. Try and make the most out of everything and not take things personally.
Pack your days.
Based on my experience, once school rolls around again I regret not doing the most I can. So in order to fix that, try and do something every night/weekend. There are only 12 weekends left of the Summer. You might think that’s fast but they go by so quickly. I recommend using these websites to find out what you can do.
Get a camera
It doesn’t have to be expensive but having one will make you do more things. Whether or not you leave your house just to take some pictures you still get out of the house and make memories.
Make a bucket list
Having your goals out on paper/notes app will help you see everything at once. It will show you how much you want to get done and that you have to start now if you want to accomplish all of it.
Do 1 thing for yourself.
When I say this I mean something that will take time. Something like learning a new sport, a new language, reading a book, workout, etc. Something that will better you.
Save up some money
This is totally optional but chances are your expenses are much lower throughout the Summer. Take this time to create a little bit of savings for yourself that way if an incident happens you’ll be a little more prepared and not as stressed.
Get tan
Wear sunscreen of course but I swear tanning helps your mental health. Everyone feels better when they have a tan.
Use Summer to find out what clothes best fit your body type.
I may be wrong but to me, Summer clothes are not tight fitting, they are loose and flowy. Using this time to figure out what looks best on you will help you in the long run when you don’t have time to think about it.
Drink water
Water helps in every way possible and its hot outside so take a few sips. I don’t want to hear that you don’t like water. Suck it up it’s something you have to do.
Get your nails done
Yes, I get it’s expensive but it is so worth it. You could go to a salon or just get one of your friends to do it for you. Getting pampered even if it’s just for a few minutes is one of the most relaxing things you could do for yourself.
Treat yourself to self-care
I know I’ve talked a lot about actually doing things, but it’s also okay to just do nothing. This is your rest time. You don’t have to listen to me, I’m just here in case you get bored. If it’s a face mask, a massage, or just watching a movie take some time for yourself because you deserve it.
The moral of the story is to do things that will make you feel secure. Whether that is in how you look, your financials, or your mental health. Do things FOR YOU. Hot girl Summer can be anything you want it to be. So go do it.
