soooo I’m engaged!!

Here are all the details that you would have missed if you asked Sam how it happened.

First of all I knew it was happening, Sam is not a very good secret keeper with things like this. He told me:

• when he picked out the ring

• when he picked it up from the store

• he asked me for help on picking out the photographer (which I am really grateful for)

Day of:

• what my dad said on the way up to the proposal

• if I wanted to be proposed to with or without the box

Let me set the scene.

He drove me up to the city to Myriad/Scissortail Park area. We walked toward Myraid and finally walked onto the pathways. Mind you I knew this was coming so I couldn’t stop laughing. I wanted to do an outfit check but he told me we have to hurry.

Then we get to a part of Myriad where there used to be a ton of tulips for the Tulip Festival and I saw the photographer. I SAW HER. So I was like “omg it’s happening right now” and I turned around and there he was. BUT. The ring box was upside down so all you can hear in the video is me laughing and saying “it’s upside down, it’s upside down.”

I guess the next part of the story is me saying yes (lucky him) and then we took some pictures.

After that we went home because we didn’t have any other plans and ordered a pizza for pickup on the way home. We did half cheese, half canadian bacon and I’m not sure if that was confusing or what but THEY DIDN’T PUT ANY MARINARA ON IT. I feel like that is a vital step in the process. So after trying to enjoy the pizza we went to McDonalds and I got a McDouble. That’s really all that happened.

Anyways I am so happy and I’m so glad we got engaged in a spot where we have shared so many other memories.
